I visited Sephora on my birthday, and Nye (or similar name) made the experience truly unforgettable. Even after I explained that I was traveling and wouldn’t be able to purchase anything that day, she took so much time to walk me through every product I needed, try them on me, and give me thoughtful recommendations. She was incredibly professional, kind, and engaging — one of the best beauty advisors I’ve ever met. Thanks to her guidance, I later purchased all the products she recommended at other Sephora locations. Nye delivered outstanding service with zero pressure, just genuine expertise and warmth. She absolutely deserves recognition!

In the past when I’ve visited Sephora, I’ve had a decent experience. Yesterday, that wasn’t the case. The staff was clearly super rude to me and my friend. I was at the store near closing time, and I get it they want to close soon, but that doesn’t warrant them mocking me for trying to collect my birthday kit. Two of the staff kept loudly saying to each other “right yeah birthday gift, of course” “how many accounts you got with us?” “Happy birthday, here’s your gift (with a very mocking tone)” I’m never coming to this store again.

I cannot say enough about the Sephora in Newport! I was shopping around for a fragrance for my wedding day and decided to stop in Sephora with no idea what so ever of what I wanted. Unfortunately I don’t remember the name of the employee that helped me, but she was so helpful! She took her time and helped me with testing different scents out. I was so indecisive but the employee was patient and kind. Someone who I believe is store manager checked in on us to see if she could be of any help and that was also much appreciated. I definitely plan on visiting this location again next time I need to re-up on my beauty or fragrance needs.

TY at Sephora in Newport Mall, Jersey City deserves ALL the praise !!!!! I walked in today honestly not feeling my best one of those days where everything just feels off. But Ty completely turned my evening around. From the moment he greeted me, he made me feel seen, comfortable, and cared for. He went above and beyond helping me find exactly what I needed, gave me amazing recommendations, and then even rang me out himself which honestly made the whole experience feel personal and special. Only giving one star for the nice lady that helped me checkout. I came to this Sephora with my son to pick up a mascara and some brow gel. I have been looking for a new fragrance and saw testers for the new sol de jeneiro scents so I decided to stop and smell them. I was hounded as soon as we stopped in front of the testers. The first time someone ask if I need any help and I politely decline is okay but to constantly be approached by several different workers and them have them stalk me and my son as we walked around the store was ridiculous.
