I would like to say how fantastic Marcos is, after a shade mishap (new formula) for the Estée Lauder double wear I was about to give up on my tried and true 15 year long go-to and was wandering the store when Marcos offered to help. He was able to shade match me (perfect match by the way on the first try!) to the new formula and now I can continue on my merry way with my favorite foundation. Thank you Marcos!

I tried to give feedback twice to the male managers here; it's really difficult to get anyone to help you with customer service here. It's very hard to find someone to help you, and this is a Sephora that built it's reputation on that. There is someone that stands at the front of the store, but for some reason they can't help with anything related to makeup. Is there a reason to have someone that doesn't know about makeup? I'm not understanding. This one time I wasn't able to get help from an employee, so I asked the manager for help. The manager said "ugh!" he was busy. Seemed like didn't want to help so I waited a bit longer just looking for someone to help me. The second time I asked the manager he finally agreed to help me.

I booked my full make up appointment with Julie last weekend and in absolute awe of how much she helped me achieve the nude and classy chic look. She was super nice and accommodating towards my requirements according to personal liking of few products and she suggested me bunch of good products that would go well with my skin care routine as well I would have given 5 stars but it’s 4 because of Nathaniel- who did my make up today- absolutely rude and unpleasant to work with Very difficult and negative personality. He made me feel so uncomfortable with his ongoing attitude towards me. I wish I could ask Julie to swap but she was so busy. Kaare kaara whatever her name was w the glasses at cashwrap did the most when I tried to return UNOPENED lashes. Sticker still on, all that she’s inspecting the sticker, called her coworker/manager to see if it’s returnable and they barely looked at it and said yeah as long as it’s within 30 days. All while I had asked what the conditions were about returning lashes when I FIRST purchased them.

I went to the Fremont Sephora today around 6:30 PM to ask about the recall for Ultra Violette Lean Screen Sunscreen. When I showed the cashier the official brand announcement stating that refunds are allowed, they refused to process it, saying that Sephora did not send an official email. The cashier and another person, who seemed to be a supervisor or manager, walked away and ignored me completely. They told me to leave instead of helping. This was extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. As an Asian woman, I felt discriminated against and dismissed just because of who I am. This experience was offensive and unacceptable. Sephora needs to take responsibility for staff training and customer service.
