SEPHORA at Kohl's

Had a wonderful experience with Kanita from Sephora. At a very busy time, Kanita still managed to fulfill customer requests in a timely manner and get the item I needed in the back of the store while helping other customers. Very pleasant, Will definitely visit this location again!

I was in the store for over 15 minutes without anyone speaking to me. One employee had their back to the counter the entire time. Another walked pass me as well. Then went to the mirror to apply lipstick. Neve acknowledged me even looking at her. I had over $200 worth of merchandise in my hands. After I placed It down and began to walk towards the exit is when someone finally spoke and asked if I needed any help. Must do better. This is why people buy online more because the customer service in the stores don’t care.

The service is really pathetic here. Literally stood for 20 minutes while two staff members were helping others but didn't make any effort to let other customers know they had people that needed to be checked out. One of the staff purposefully seemed to longer with a customer to avoid the checkout. I realize staffing is a challenge in retail but this is problematic to want to remain a customer.

This Sephora just opened and it's already the best one I've ever been to. The employee who helped us did such a fantastic job. I visited with my friend who has a hard time communicating because she is nonverbal and has autism. This employee went above and beyond to help my friend. She took the time to figure out her needs, recommended great products, was patient in helping her pick colors, and treated her with so much respect. The store had a great selection but it's the employee's excellent customer service that has made us customers for life. Thank you! 🥰
