SEPHORA at Kohl's

I had a pretty unpleasant experience with an employee at this location today. Kaylee? Haylee? It was hard to understand what she said her name was. Neither employees working had on name tags. It’s not a difficult task or ask to be kind to customers, and it should be easy to do especially when the customer is being nice to you. The employee appeared unkempt, which is strange while working in the beauty industry.

Thank you Rachel for helping me today with the shampoo and serum.im excited to try and see what works best to come back and full purchase the product.She was very knowledgeable and kind why helping me understand the product !

If I could give them zero, I would, there was only two young ladies, the tall young lady with the curly hair and the other young lady, with a very long braid whom I didn’t interact with until the end . the rest of them were extremely dismissive , Standoffish, not customer friendly & NO HELP AT ALL . That was my first experience at Sephora I was happy to try on my shade however will never return because The customer service here is poor ! They would rather walk around chatting with their friends in the store, whispering near customers, as if we can’t hear them then after being in the store for almost 15 minutes the young lady walks back by and say hey, how are y’all even though I made eye contact with her when I walked in She kept walking, went to the next aisle I attempted to approach

Word of advice - if you’re not wearing a full face of makeup and you’re wearing sweatpants, you will be ignored. Went in the other day to pickup some skincare and do some shopping and I kid you not, associates walked right past me, never asked if I needed help or anything. When I did ask for help and had a question, I got nothing but an attitude like I was dumb for asking the question. Oh and loss prevention will follow you around too. The guy made it so obvious who he was. The only time an associate was nice to me was when I was checking out and the amount of money I spent. Just stick to ulta or order online.

I had such a positive experience here, I was walking around smelling perfumes and the ladies were so nice and helpful and helped me with a new scent. I'm definitely returning for more lol
