SEPHORA at Kohl's

The older white lady with short hair at this location is very rude. She has no manners and follows you around the store. I go to Sephora a lot and usually spend a lot But it doesn’t mean that I need to purchase something to be able to visit the store. That lady looked me and my parents up and down, followed us around the store and kept giving mean looks to us. Every time I go to Sephora, that lady had the same attitude, demeaning and condescending! I also went to return my Mario foundation one because it just didn’t work for me. I have been able to easily return my stuff in the past if I didn’t like it, But this other older white lady asked me a whole list of questions about my return, although I bought it like two days ago. To the pretty Sephora lady this morning, please stop being mean to others. I have been to Sephora 100s of times but never faced such behavior. If you have questions or doubt anyone birthday just ask them ID we will be happy to give it to you. It’s just a free hamper and everyone are not just coming to your store for that ( we have purchased $100 items from the store). We were enjoying our morning at Sephora with my friend on her bday and your behavior just made me so sad, I didn’t want to hurt her or spoil our day so we just went ahead with our day but just can’t keep your behavior out of my mind so posting it. Thanks for your service but please just dont keep on going spoiling others day!! Please!!!

My friend and I were just looking around at new products we were interested in and smelling the test-me fragrances when an older lady with white hair would not stop following us around the store and eyeing us down. She was blatantly staring at us for a long time before she asked if we needed help (for the fourth time), and another older lady with short red hair was doing the exact same thing. This happened for the entire 30mins that we were there. However, the young lady with long black hair at the register was so kind to us and helpful.

On Saturday May 18th 2024, my daughter and I visited this location. My goal was to either exchange or return a perfume that I had purchased the week before. I liked the fragrance when I sampled it in the store but once I brought it home and wore it for a day I realized it didn’t settle well on my skin. The woman at the register was not very approachable. She had what seemed like an attitude or like she may have been passing judgment before even understanding what I was trying to do. I’m not sure her name but she was an older woman. As I began to explain to her what I was wanting to do with the fragrance it was as though she had an attitude and spoke in a very condescending tone about my options. That Sephora is located inside a Kohl's store, and it's worth noting that they do not accept Kohl's coupons or amazon return coupons. At the same time, they process payment transactions as Kohl's purchases, which means you also won't receive any bank rewards if you have any for Sephora purchases. It doesn't make any sense to shop there if you want to apply some kind of savings deal. I shopped there for the first time and simply asked them to select any foundation they thought would work for me. The manager was very kind and quickly chose the correct tone for my skin. The product and its tone were great, and I will probably purchase it again, but from a different store.
