SEPHORA at Kohl's

Here is your review, reorganized and clarified, with the ** I usually only come to this **Sephora at Kohl’s** location because it’s convenient when I’m already inside Kohl’s doing an Amazon return. There’s also a brand-new standalone Sephora in the same plaza that is always fully stocked — and after this experience, I’ll just be going there. 🚨 Most Important Warning **Sephora at Kohl’s is NOT the same as a standalone Sephora when it comes to returns/exchanges. The customer service at this location is horrendous. The store itself is unkempt, with missing samples and an overall disorganized appearance. Because it’s inside Kohl’s, the product selection is already limited, and the service only makes the experience worse. When I attempted to claim my birthday gift for the first time, the manager simply pointed vaguely across the store without offering any explanation. After asking again, she realized the item she was referring to was out of stock. Her lack of communication made it clear that assisting customers was not a priority. She also attempted to sign me up for Kohl’s rewards without clearly stating it was for Kohl’s—only mentioning “double points.” When I realized this and canceled the enrollment, she questioned me with noticeable attitude.

Went in today. Looking for a specific lipstick no 81. Didn't know the brand. Lady didn't give any of her time. Brush me off. Will Never step foot in again.

The best customer service experience I had at any of the Sephora stores. Sharon or Sherrie (Saturday 10/28/23 morning) was excellent. She was very nice with everyone and took her time helping me with the perfumes, etc. Keep up the good work! 😃
