SEPHORA at Kohl's

I normally love shopping at Sephora, but my experience at the Sephora inside Kohl’s today was… unforgettable for all the wrong reasons. The associate, Julissa, was completely unprofessional from the moment I walked in. I’m not sure if she was having a long day or just wasn’t interested in doing her job, but the energy was off. She seemed confused, unprepared, and honestly more invested in everything except actually helping customers. The whole interaction felt disorganized and messy, which is not what I expect from Sephora at all. I came in ready to spend money, not to feel like I’m inconveniencing someone just by asking questions. Management might want to take a look at the customer service standards here, because this location is definitely not matching Sephora’s usual experience.

I entered the store about 6:30-7:00pm on 9/26/25 I stood directly in line behind one other customer. The cashier tried her best to not look in my direction. About 5 minutes into my wait 2 white men walk in on the opposite side of the store, the cashier greeted them very loudly then rolled her eyes at me. So because the color of my skin I was not greeted, it was very obvious. When it was my turn in line she didn’t even greet me or say anything I just asked her for the help that I needed. She was very dismissive, short and overall disgusting and unpleasant. Please do not even visit this location you will 100% be met with racism for no reason, I wonder how she treats her black co workers…because with that attitude I’m sure I’m not the only one to notice. Monnet was an awesome help, she was very knowledgeable about the products and made great recommendations.

They sold my daughter an empty bottle of the good girl perfume. She just bought it Sunday 12/22/24 and went to use it last night. Only to find the bottle was not spraying.The manger “Raymond” is not allowing an exchange!!! I could see if it was weeks past. A customers satisfaction is NOT a priority to this company! What if it was a gift for someone!!!????

I love their products and shop there quite often. Their staff is always very helpful. Julissa is the sweetest ever-- kind, very resourceful and offer good recommendations.
