Scizzors Hair Salon

Had an appointment for my grandson to get his locs freshened up. He always enjoys the experience of the salon. Not so much sitting under the dryer but it is part of the process.

I don't usually go to salons to get my hair done because of personal reasons but with my last experience here, I will be coming back. Kristina did a beautiful balayage on me! She gave helpful feedback on what color would look best and made me feel relieved to be in her chair. She made it feel more like a personal experience vs a business transaction. You can tell she genuinely enjoys her career and her clients. Plus she has an eye for detail! I have had many compliments on my hair and I couldn't be happier with it. Thank you Kristina!

I have been going to Scizzors to get my haircut since I was 4 years old, I am now 32 and I drive from Sturbridge MA to Shrewsbury MA to go to Scizzors. The environment at the salon is fun and hip and the stylists that work there are always so welcoming. They remember your name and remember what you last spoke about when you were last in to see them as well. I have gone other places to get my haircut and I was never as satisfied with my hair as I am every time I leave Scizzors. As a girl with bangs, I can tell you how many times they have been messed up somewhere else and I have to go a week with a "bad hair day." If I could give more than 5 stars I would! It's quality over quantity here, yeah the prices may be higher but it is worth every penny you spend on the quality of your style. And w

My experiences at this salon have been nothing but great. All the girls are wonderful and very professional. My usual colorist is Jenn and my stylist is Brie. These girls can work miracles with my extra curly hair. They are very accommodating when I needed to change dates and times. They are professional and worth every penny.

Michelle is phenomenal! After bleaching my hair elsewhere several months ago and not loving it, I came to Scizzors wanting to change the color. Michelle consulted with me ahead of my appointment to plan what services would be best for me. She worked magic on the color and cut. It is exactly what I had pictured in my head. She definitely gained a repeat customer! On another note, all the reception staff are kind and welcoming.
