I’m pretty picky about barber shops - I’ve been driving almost 30 miles every month that’s how picky. 😂 Anyway, I walk past this place in Ballston fairly frequently and love the name! So I booked this month’s haircut and wasn’t disappointed. I walked in and was greeted by a very friendly receptionist. She offered me my choice of alcoholic or non alcoholic drinks … at no charge … while I waited for my appointment. (They have a bar!) I was booked with the senior hairstylist - a funny guy who has been cutting hair for 31 years. I told him what I wanted and he did a fantastic job. Straight razor neck shave, shampoo after cut, and a hot face towel. I tell my folks at work that it’s all about the customer/client experience and this reinforced that maxim. I found my new tribe of great people! Scissors & Scotch is an awesome experience everyone needs to try once in their lives. Service is great, vibe is chill, and the people are fantastic! Prices are good and you get a full experience, or whatever your budget can handle. Enjoying an IPA or Scotch after a cut is cool as well….I felt great when I left!
