I started going to Malik last year in september. I remember being really nervous about cutting my hair, so I called Malik to schedule an appointment and he throughly walked me through ideas that I can do for my hair and what would work best. He made me feel much better about doing the cut. Once he did it I was so amazed ever since. I was nervous about keeping it natural or relaxed and he worked with me both ways and did not pressure me to say the style can only be relaxed (even though I did end up relaxing by choice). He is so thorough, friendly, REAL, affordable, funny, and overall a really amazing hair stylist. He listens to your hair and really is not just there for the money (which is hard to find these days). I really enjoyed my hair experience with Malik. Honestly he did a really good job, made me feel welcomed and comfortable. He explained and showed me ways I can style my short pixie cut. My daughter came in with her hair perimeter almost gone. I thought it was alopecia and I cut off her dreads. Malik told me how to keep up with the low hair cut he gave her. He brought her natural curls and baby hair. She looks so cute. Thanks to Malik.
