Been going here my entire life. Great haircuts, always super friendly.

The stylist did a pretty decent job with my haircut. However, I cannot say that the experience was enjoyable. Instead of that classic barbershop smell all I could smell was eau du dog. The smell of dog is just overwhelming and was grossing me out. It smells like a veterinarian’s office in the barbershop. I simply cannot return here because of the smell, not to mention this 100lb dog staring at you half the time.

Monica might be the best barber I have been to ever, she really listens to your request takes her time and does an excellent job. You can see her passion for what she does, and that’s refreshing. Will be visiting her for the foreseeable future

Had been wanting to try this place for a while & was finally able to take my son last week. We previously alternated between Goodfellows and Great Clips; cuts and staff friendliness are always hit or miss with both, and now that Goodfellows requires appointments it’s just become too inconvenient to bother anymore. Opening the door to Sands’ for the first time was an AWESOME first impression: the inside was beautiful—classically decorated with a modern touch, and super clean and comfortable—and we were immediately greeted by a VERY cheerful, smiling, and welcoming stylist (I believe possibly the owner), who was already in the middle of a cut, so my son went to stylist Jesse’s chair. My favorite, and go-to spot for a real, honest-to-goodness haircut, by people who know what they're doing, and have many years of experience to show for it. This is the place to spend your money. They'll be moving into some nice new digs just down the block in a few months! And they're now in those new digs!
