I have been going to Base Hair Studio for so many years now and ever since my first hair appointment with Mandy, I have never looked back. The salon itself flawless, organized and exudes a level of comfort for the customer. I have also always felt at ease and OK with speaking up about something I would like or like to change. I am very grateful for their professionalism and comfort level they give me. Every stylist, Mandy, Bethany, Khrystyna and Marianna are always exceptionally professional, they take the time to truly listen to what I would like done and had genuine attentiveness to what my preferences were. I absolutely love Base Hair Studio! Every time I go, I’m treated with so much care and kindness. Khrystyna and Bethany are always so welcoming, and they make you feel right at home. This time, I had extensions, highlights, and a Brazilian blow dry done—and I couldn’t be happier with the results. My hair had become very thin and wasn’t growing much, but the transformation with the extensions done by Khrystyna was incredible. It looks so natural and full—truly a big change for me. Bethany is not only talented but she is a pleasure to be around. I went in with help for my grays! And came out with a self esteem boost! My highlights are perfect and I do not have any visible grays. The cut was transforming, I never knew my hair could look so amazing! She also showed me how to achieve this look at home. Which has never happened with my past stylists. I'll be back!

Mandi and Khrystyna did my hair and makeup for my cousins OUTDOOR wedding on a 96 degree day in Austin, Texas. It held all day long, and looked just as good as it did in the morning. I would recommend their services to anybody looking for bridal services, or any professional hair/makeup needs. While they are great at their jobs, they are also amazing people who care about you and what you want. They are simply the best.

Can't recommend enough! I started going to Khrystyna about a year and a half ago when I wanted to get hot pink highlights. She did such a fantastic job! (I can't wait to go lavender purple in the spring!) Most recently, she did some highlights and toning for me, and I love love love how they came out. The longest I've ever been in there is about two hours, and that's for a full highlight/tone/trim/style session, which is great! I've been to other places where I'm stuck in there forever. I just text Khrystyna when I need to get in and make an appointment, super easy and convenient! I also park in the Washington St lot, easier than trying to back up into the parking spaces on Washington.
