They remember your name, your last cut, and the little details that make it personal. Sam's isn't just in the community; it is the community. A true staple, and we're lucky to have it.

I've been coming to Sam's Barbershop for years. My son and grandson come to him as well, and we are very happy to say he's very industrious and hard working and is a very skilled barber. And I'm proud to say I'll be coming here for as long as I live.

-5 STARS(NEGATIVE). I just moved into town, and I was looking for a barber and decided to go to these guys. THIS IS LITERALLY THE WORST HAIRCUT I HAVE EVER GOTTEN... EVER!!! They somehow managed to make me look way worse than how I entered. All i asked for was a low fade, but the fade on the left side was higher than the right side, you could see the lines of demarcation between the different steps, and they literally removed all my sides and back, and gave me a high top. IF YOU ARE AFRICAN AMERICAN, AVOID THIS BARBER SHOP. I had to go to Ramon Barbershop for the Dominicans to fix me up

Very unprofessional. Yesterday, 6/5/17 I went in for a haircut. I showed them a photo (an older white male cut my hair) the cut took 20 minutes as opposed to the usual hour a cut from my home barber does. At first it was fine. Then I touched my scalp and saw that my hair was cut in the opposite direction it grows. And when I got home to a mirror a part of my fro was shaved off. And the sides were too low. The next day 6/6/17 I visited the shop to ask for a refund because I was unhappy with my haircut. The older gentleman was in a barber chair with his feet kicked up and another man was doing the same. They were both watching tv. I asked for a refund and then they offered to "fix" my hair. Why would I want the man who messed up my hair "fix" my hair. Then after asking for my refund again
