Wish Samir the best, but his cuts are ROUGH. Samir speaks highly about how quick and excellent his cuts are, but 3 minutes later you're left with an unlayered, completely chaotic mess. If you question it, he will rationalize it as "layers". Furthermore, the price isn't as advertised, it will be higher (and likely go up in subsequent visits). I recommend Old YMCA, Paul Mitchell, or PCC Cosmetology for an affordable local cut. If you're willing to drive, you get high quality cuts at Vietnamese salons in Westminster.

Incredibly terrible haircut. As soon as you walk in he speaks non-stop about how fast and wonderful the haircut will be. But talk is cheap because the end result was VERY uneven sides. Very unprofessional different lengths here and there —up top as well. Which we had to bring up over and over again when he said, "All done". Noooo not quite. And then had to almost FORCE him to fix what he had done. To the point where it was a waste of time and quite silly even. He was kind and nice. But spoke too highly of himself and his 45 years of cutting people's hair. Still his wild use of the scissors and hair clippers left us with the worst cut we've ever experienced. We will absolutely not be back but wish you well as a person Samir :).

Needed to get a haircut quick in the middle of the day - drove by and found Samir’s. Sam is kind, friendly, and a great barber. He does a fantastic job and charges a more than fair price. I found my new spot!

Nice guy but the cut was terrible. Also, 7.99 is a bit misleading. He ended up charging me 15, which is fine had the cut been good. So many uneven spots, stray hairs everywhere, and really unacceptable for a "pro." I hate to leave a bad review for someone so nice but I look at my hair everyday and get irritated. Today, I just couldn't take it anymore. My recommendation, take the 7.99 sign down, charge a normal rate, and cut everyone the same. I suspect if you go in mentioning the 7.99 cut, you get a substandard cut.
