Rutherford’s Salon for Men

A friend recommended me Rutherford's and Nicholas has given me my favorite cuts ever. He always checks in and makes sure you feel good throughout the cut, gives good advice about how to style your hair. He is pretty charismatic and always got good music and visualizers on the TV which I enjoy lol.

Got a great haircut from Marirose. Came in not knowing what I really wanted but showed her some reference photos and she talked me through the whole hair cut if I liked it or wanted it shorter. Highly recommend!

I have been going to Nicholas monthly for about 4 years. Honestly, EVERY haircut from him is amazing. For many years before I started with Nicholas, I would have to have a lot of product in my hair to get it to do what I wanted and look good. After his haircuts, I need to use very little product, because he has created the look I wanted, and his skill is so high. He is a great dude - funny, intelligent, interesting, and he’s a great listener. The space is clean and comfortable and the building has plenty of parking. Rutherford’s and Nicholas are the best!

It’s very hard for me to trust anyone with my beard. It’s not easy to make it look natural and not too clean with the lines. Most barbers and beard trimmers co hard on edges and leave it looking stiff and lifeless. Nicholas studies, not just the method, but my face. Each time I come in we work on what we’ve learned together and make subtle changes, checking in with each other to get to a better result each time I go. It’s not just a beard trim for me, it’s working with an artist who is at the top of his craft. And that makes me feel like a million bucks. 10/10 highly recommend.
