I’m brand new to Nashville and I needed a new go to stylist and salon! I was prepared to have to try out various places around town before I was happy. THAT WAS NOT THE CASE! I booked with Aissa through the Cognito salon website and was seen within days of making the appointment. I was so surprised I didn’t have to wait months!! The salon is easy to find and parking is directly in front of the building. I was offered snacks and beverages when I arrived for my appointment which was super sweet of them. The salon is clean, modern, and well stocked with product. The environment was lively without being overly loud or too weirdly quiet either. I am so happy to have worked with Aissa. I love Cognito! Kat is an amazing stylist! She keeps me looking like a natural blonde (no easy feat since I haven’t been one since I was about 13). Mark and the rest of the staff are awesome and make it fun to come get your hair done!

Dana has been my hairstylist for almost 25 years. I’ve followed her from one location to another and can’t imagine having anyone else cut my hair. Dana is amazing at what she does and is a wonderful mixture of both professional and fun - with lots of entertaining stories. She’s taught other stylists for years now. I can just sit, relax and trust that she will do a great job - she always does. Mark (Cognito’s owner) ensures that Cognito is a relaxed and fun place to visit - and yet the place is consistently immaculate. It’s a great place and I highly recommend Cognito Hair Design.
