Update: my hair isn't standing up to the humidity in Cape Cod - and I've had a Keratin treatmet that held up in Florida. First post: Like many salons, it depends who you see and what you are looking for. This salon is nice and basic, everyone is friendly and it is clean. (Although they don't seem to have an assistant who sweeps chairs/floor frequently - but maybe everyone was busy when I was there.) Products seem dependent on the stylist and what they use/have access to. I had a Brazilian blowout (first time) and a trim. Took about an hour. I think I expected more clarifying/more wash prior. Process was faster than I expected which was nice. Most stylist don't really know how to deal with curly hair (mine is very fine with two types of curl in it), no exception here. 2 1/2 years ago I moved to the area from another state. Laura Poole was the first hair stylist I tried and I've never gone anywhere else. My hair is naturally curly, thick and difficult to manage. She always covers my gray expertly and makes my hair shine! She is an expert hair stylist and the kindest person I've met in New Hampshire. She goes over and beyond to accommodate client schedules, especially during covid. I highly recommend Laura for all of your hair styling needs!

I have been seeing Laura for years. I could not be happier with her work. She is honest, is happy to make suggestions for your hair type, gives advice on how to care for your hair, and is generally just a fun person to be around. The salon itself is very relaxing and inviting. Highly recommend.

Love this place and my stylist Laura Poole! I have been going to her for years, I followed her from another Salon, totally worth it! I don't just color my hair to cover my greys, I change my mind every few times time I go, purple, blue, pink, natural, lighter, darker. I am indecisive and she is always so patient and works with me and what I can do having the dark hair that I have. Never once have I been disappointed and if I want something "different" and she doesn't think it will work, she will tell me. She won't do it just to do it. One of the most honest and caring people I know!! Highly recommend her!!

I have been with Laura for about 4 years now. I was with her when she worked at another salon, and I followed her here when she moved. I should also add that I live close to Boston but make the trip up to Derry to see Laura because of her talent, honesty, and great personality! Before my wedding in August 2017, she patiently spent months coloring my hair to get it to match my vision for my wedding day, and helped me pick out the perfect hair extensions. I felt like a princess on my wedding day!!! I honestly never thought my hair could look so good, as if I were a celebrity, but it did!
