Salon Scissor Hands

So I came by after work on a Friday and didn't have an appointment. They were able to squeeze me in as a walk in with a 20-30 minute wait. The person who washed my hair before my haircut gave me one of the best head massages I've ever gotten at a hair salon. I definitely needed it and felt super relaxed after that. The hairdresser was also super nice and made adjustments to my haircut upon my request. She was very sweet and I was happy that she listened. The only reason I gave a 4 instead of 5 stars is because they need better curling cream or curly hair products to style curly hair. It's hard to appreciate the haircut when it's a bit frizzy. Overall I highly recommend this place and will definitely return!

Made an appointment with Jason to get my haircut. I didn't have to wait at all when I got there, and they helped me very quickly. Jason was fantastic! I showed him pictures of the bangs and hairstyle I wanted, and he spent time analyzing it with me and explaining how to maintain it. He is very knowledgeable, and I can tell he is very passionate about hair. The haircut looks very cute, and people have been complimenting my bangs.

Either find another place to get your hair cut or learn how to cut it yourself. I came here once back in August. I did not know any stylists personally, so I was assigned to the person named Jason. Although he was able to understand and communicate with me in English, it seems like it was not enough. I showed him a couple of similar pictures with the style I wanted, which was just a short trim along the back and sides with a typical Korean middle part. I somehow ended up with a bowl cut and buzzed/shaved sides. It was much shorter than I would ever want my hair and was practically forced to wear a hat until it looked presentable enough. Overall, I was not satisfied with my experience. As someone who is not Korean, I did not feel welcomed at this salon. The staff was not friendly, and my stylist gave the impression that she did not want to cut my hair. I asked for a middle part, but there was little effort put into making it even. At the time, it looked acceptable, but once I left the salon, I realized how poorly it was done. The haircut itself was horrible and I couldn’t wait to leave. I've been going here with the whole family for 10+ yrs. Friendly staff. I feel comfortable with the family here. I will never change places for hair cuts. Jenny has cut my hair for decade now.
