This review is for a Hairstylist by the name of Sammie Rae. $90 plus a $20 dollar tip totaled $110 for a botched haircut. When I reached out for a refund it was denied due to “her” pictures reflecting a good cut (when one’s hair is “blown out” and “styled” a bad cut can not be detected) and due to me declining for her to fix it (why would I go back for a second round?). The “courtesy” I was offered was refunding the shampoo & conditioner “I” purchased. I mean how is this even a courtesy? This is shampoo and conditioner “I” purchased. So the Hairstylist taking it back and returning it-is a “courtesy”? What a joke. I was not even able to get my $20 dollar tip back (wow is an understatement). I love how it's possible to find all your beauty or just care needs here; from nails to facials, lashes, hair, and waxing it can be found at Salon Republic. As a Stylist renting a studio here I love it! It's a friendly community, open, but you can still have your privacy if you need it. I love how it's possible to have access at all times, for late or early appointments, or even just setting up or preping for another day. I love the location too!

She’s incredibly knowledgeable about her craft and is able to get you on the right track to better skin. Having been on this journey since my teens, I’ve had experience with other estheticians & dermatologists but not many who take the time to educate the Melissa does.

I received a shockingly bad haircut from Holly. She showed zero interest in listening to what I wanted and just did the cut she felt like showcasing on her Instagram. She also didn't ask my permission to be photographed and just shoved me into it. It's been months and my hair is still a mess but slowly improving as it grows and I add in my own layers. For $300, I don't expect to have to sign up for a hair cutting class from a different hairdresser and then end up having to do the cut myself. I would post the "after" photo I took of myself after I got home but I'm still so humiliated by how badly it came out. I would give her 0 stars if I could. Just got a cut from Nico and it’s definitely one of the best haircuts I’ve ever had. He’s extremely attentive and thorough and really did his best to understand what I wanted with my hair. He’s also really fun guy 10/10 would go again.
