Salon Poppy

10 out of 10! Not only is Salon Poppy an absolutely adorable salon with a fun hip vibe, but they also have tons of products for sale, great jewelry, cute merchandise, and super friendly staff and stylists. Kari, (the owner) is my stylist and the girl KNOWS what she is doing. She also KNOWS how to run a business and how to train her team to be excellent at their craft. She has high expectations for herself and her employees. I ALWAYS leave Salon Poppy looking great and feeling like I was in great hands! I HIGHLY recommend Salon Poppy!🌺

This is my first trip back since the reopening of the salon and they have taken incredible precautions to keep everyone safe. The stylists here are all phenomenal, everyone walks out looking great! I’ve never felt rushed through an appointment and have always been pampered by the staff here. I’m so glad this group of wonderful folks were able to stick it out through Covid and stay in business, they are the best! Kristen is my stylist and she is amazing. Update November 2020. Kristen is away for awhile and recommended I see Lindsey. She is fantastic as well. A pleasure to talk with, so friendly and a very skilled stylist.

Mikayla did an amazing job on my hair, revamping my layers, and helping me decide the best haircut to achieve my desired look without too much upkeep. She was very knowledgeable and caring! This was my first visit and I would definitely recommend her! 💁🏻‍♀️

Just got my hair cut by Madison, it’s just what I asked for and envisioned. The ladies are so kind and the salon is very welcoming. I’m so happy I got my hair done at Poppy’s, the next time I’m in anchorage I’ll be coming back for sure!

I’m just glad hair grows back. She had cut my hair to shoulder length and I asked for it to be a little shorter. She proceeded to cut another 4 inches off. It looks like a bowl cut. Not happy with my experience at Salon Poppy, I will be finding another salon.
