She is incredibly talented and especially experienced with blonde hair — whether it’s bright, dimensional, lived-in, or perfectly toned, she truly knows how to create the most beautiful, healthy blonde. She takes the time to listen, always protects the integrity of my hair, and somehow makes every appointment feel like a luxury experience. I'm not typically one to write a review, let alone a poor one, but I know how high maintenance being a blonde can be, and how crucial it is to have the right colorist, so I'm hoping to help others who may be looking for a salon. I’ve visited this salon multiple times, traveling from out of town with a tight schedule and little room for error. Unfortunately, my recent experience was incredibly disappointing and not the first time this has happened. I went in with a clear photo of the desired result: a cool, creamy blonde with a root shadow (photo attached). The colorist assured me that she understood exactly what I wanted and even suggested keeping some of my natural color in place instead of doing a full root shadow to achieve the desired result. Trusting her professional judgment, I agree

Erica and Salon Platinum have made my hair look better at 40 then it ever did in my 20s and 30s. The blonde is always spot on for what I'm looking for, and even "grown out" I still get compliments from people thinking it's fresh color. The vibe of the salon is so welcoming and relaxing too, everyone is super friendly. If you want amazing hair go to Salon Platinum!

I want to start off by saying this is a wonderful place to go if you want blonde hair, already have lighter hair, and do not have any dye in your hair previously. That unfortunately was not my case. I had professional level 2 dye in my hair, and I had come in for a consultation before scheduling my appointment. I was hoping for a level 5/6 brown with highlights using my natural hair and k tips, meaning this whole experience was going to be at least over $2300. I had heard good things about this salon and the owner, so I trusted spending that much money on my hair. The first red flag was the stylist who did my consultation knew I had dye in my hair and did not do a strand test after I had asked. I was assured it would be fine and that the extensions would carry most of the highlights anyway

Kate is the best! Always a pleasant experience and will give you exactly what you want! Very cute, clean salon! Great for blondes!
