I had such an amazing experience at Salon Maven. I first came in for a consultation, followed by a separate appointment for my color and cut, which I really appreciated. After having a baby, I wasn’t feeling the greatest about myself or my hair, and I truly needed a revamp to feel fresh, healthy, and confident again. From the moment I walked in, the studio felt so homey, cozy, and thoughtfully designed. The space was clean, beautifully decorated, and full of little details that made the entire experience comfortable and relaxing. She did an incredible job making sure I felt informed and involved every step of the way. We discussed the plan moving forward together, going over details like color, cut, and realistic end results. She took the time to thoroughly understand my hair history so

I decided to go to Salon Maven in hopes to get a bad cut fixed. Amber was very kind and knowledgeable! She went out of her way to make me feel comfortable with how she would fix my cut. She kept all the length while incorporating beautiful layers and did an amazing job! I haven’t had a haircut this good in a decade! My natural wavy/curly hair is so happy after this cut! By the end I was thankful for the bad cut that led me to find Amber!

Amber is an absolutely amazing stylist! I have curly hair that I've been struggling to find a stylist who can cut it in a way that gives it volume and definition and I'm always nervous about trying out new stylists. Immediately Amber started asking all of the right questions and throughout the appointment (while we weren't chatting incessantly ) she made sure that what she was doing was what I wanted and gave me so many suggestions of how to achieve the type of curls/style that I want and gave me absolutely the exact haircut that I wanted and I could not be happier! Highly recommend and can't wait to go back to have her do coloring and other treatments on my hair.

Amber is amazing! I needed a cut and color after my regular stylist was unavailable and booked out for weeks. I took a chance and walked in to see if I could get a hair cut. After talking with Amber she put me at ease and I asked if she could also color my hair. I have started to gray and hadn’t had any color or cut in over 5 months. She had her work cut out for her but, didn’t make me feel bad if anything she made me feel comfortable and heard. I spent the next 3 hours in Her chair as she worked her magic. From the moment I sat in her chair, she took the time to truly listen and understand exactly what I was looking for by taking the time to ask thoughtful questions to make sure we were completely on the same page. There was no rush, no guessing, just clear communication and genuine care. Amber delivered exactly what I asked for, and I walked out with a haircut and color that I genuinely love; no adjusting, no convincing myself to like it. That’s a first for me!
