I never write google reviews (and this is ~3 months later) but I have to rave about the team at Salon Gatto and Brittni, my stylist! The experience at Salon Gatto is truly luxury! I hate sitting in the chair for hair/nails you name it, but an appointment here genuinely feels like self care. Everyone is warm and welcoming and the downtown space is beautiful. Brittni has been a miracle worker ever since I frantically booked an appointment with her to fixed a botched bob (IYKYK) over a year ago. She was so attentive to my asks, and asked me several questions about my hair care, styling habits etc to make sure my cut worked best for me (and calm me down that she could fit it!) Not only did she somehow turn my nightmare into one of my favorite haircuts ever, but when I went back to her last O

Just had my hair done by level 3 stylist Eddie! He was amazing. Made me feel so comfortable and in addition to his personality and vibe being awesome, his styling is an absolute art. He transformed my look, and brought out all my fire in my hair. He did a single process and a balayage technique to balance my color and the haircut was perfection. I love my hair and my look! Thanks Eddie! I will never go to a different salon or stylist. The fact that he is a color magician and with cut as well - just amazing.

I booked an appointment here the other day through their Instagram post about their apprentice program. I was booked with Alexis and OMG she transformed my hair. I’ve been getting my hair done for years as a blonde and this was quite the best experience and consultation I’ve ever had. She really listened to every thing I wanted and I truly have never felt better. It was awesome to see the Owner Christine teaching a class to her stylists/assistant's while the program was going on. I felt like I was watching a YouTube video in real life. It’s nice to see an owner in action teaching her staff, no wonder my hair came out so well. She also checked in on me during my appointment and was so kind and helpful! Have to mention the complimentary drink option too I had the best vanilla spiced latte

I just went to Salon Gatto on Hudson Street for the first time after reading so many rave reviews. I had such a wonderful experience!! Odalis was amazing- she listened carefully to my needs and gave me the perfect cut!! I have thick curly hair and sometimes layers can be risky as they may leave it bushy but she did an amazing, perfect job and it falls beautifully! I have gotten many compliments. The salon itself is very nice and the staff is very warm and hospitable- such a great vibe!!! I look forward to going back for coloring soon. I highly recommend!

I had my first ever hair extension experience here and it was absolutely perfect, Chelsea was so informative throughout the process. My hair feels so comfortable and light weight yet so full I can’t believe my hair looks like this my life is changed. Installation was so relaxing and fun, they made me a coffee (so good by the way) the hair blend is so seamless I’ve never felt more confident. If you were thinking of getting extensions this is your spot 10/10!!
