Salon Flow South

I love Monica! I started going to her when I was around 6 months pregnant, looking for a local stylist that could do my natural hair (heat trained) and do a weave if I wanted one every now and again. She loves hair and will always make sure you love your hair before you leave. Every time I come in, we laugh and talk. She makes you feel like you’ve known her for years.

This was my fist visit to Salon Flow South and I was complete blown away! Salon Flow South is a lovely, neat and spacious salon in a quiet neighborhood. Monica is sweet, friendly and an absolute professional. She took the time to explain to me exactly what she was doing to my hair and why she was doing that(a completely understandable walkthrough). She didn’t violently comb through my knots but gently did so, meaning significantly less tearing. My hair was also trimmed to perfection and had life breathed into it. I left there seeing and knowing my hair was healthy. Will absolutely recommend!

Oh my goodness, I gotta say, I love what Monica has done with my hair. One, it is better than what I expected. Two, she actually takes care of it. Three, she actually ensures her clients are comfortable and okay. She asked if combing my hair hurt. I'm naturally tender headed but I have grown used to it with so much hair i have for all my life. This may annoy clients, but this let's you know that she cares. The last hair salon I went to didn't know how to properly work with long hair let alone a lot of it. It did take some time, but she managed. She even gave suggestions on how to better care for my hair so it will become healthier.

Monica is exceptional stylist. Truthfully, I don't think there's any hairstyle she could not do. All you really need is a vision or a picture and it will be done. Whether it is a natural hairstyle or a sew in, it doesn't matter. She keeps up with the latest trends. Most importantly, she cares about your hair. Every time I go I am overjoyed, overwhelmed, delighted, and completely satisfied. Not only is Monica great stylist, she is also a beautiful person. My mom and I love Salon Flow and the atmosphere it's absolutely gorgeous. When you walk into the salon, you know you are in great hands.
