Salon del Sol Midlothian

Very untrained, unqualified stylists. They Totally destroyed my hair. This salon is gimmicky and I highly recommend going somewhere else for anything beyond a basic haircut. I paid $400 for a horrible result. I asked for a super light gentle blonde balayage with mostly natural hair left untouched and specifically instructed to keep my hair natural with barely any bleach or product. Instead, this stylist bleached almost my entire head and used excessive dye. I came in with beautiful, healthy mostly virgin hair and left with an over-processed, brassy orange mess. She stripped out the blonde I already had, turned everything orange, and even left a random black patch in the back where I requested chocolate brown. My hair is now weak, damaged, excessively thinning, and literally falling apart

I have been going to Farren for over a year and her services are worth every penny! My hair is naturally very dark, and she has helped me find the perfect auburn for my skin tone. I barely do my hair and I STILL get compliments on it all the time! She has also helped me learn how to care for my hair and even though it is colored, it's healthier than it's ever been. I highly recommend Salon del Sol and Farren especially :)

Honestly this salon is just sub par to others in the area with costs that surpass without the quality experience to support it. To be clear I never had problems with my stylist individually. She was fine. Scheduling is so important for customers as it relates to hair and they cancelled my appointment without speaking to me which is in itself remediable. But honestly when I called them back to reschedule they were so snarky, so rude. After not answering your phone when I called during business hours to immediately tell me that you cancelled my appointment without speaking to me - bothered me. After not answering, to then tell me I can't be fit in for a few weeks is wild but I was still ok to rebook. I will never rebook because of honestly how mean girl they were. Don't go here, to them

I struggled to find a new stylist after moving back from college, but Joyce at Salon del Sol has been exactly what I was looking for! Her cuts look amazing day of and grow out nicely, and they've helped me feel great during my hair growth journey. Love Joyce and this salon!

I was in to do a major style change from long hair to short hair. Laura was super attentive to all my requests and did a wonderful job! She is a fantastic hairdresser and super fun to chat with! The ambiance of the salon was very inviting, clean, and beautiful. Neck, head and hands massages were relaxing and enjoyable. All the products smelled amazing! 100% recommend! Excellent job guys. I loved my experience!
