My hairdressing appointment last night for a cut and color was the best hairdressing experience I've ever had. Linda took time at the start of the appointment to sit and talk to me so that she could understand what will work for me; what would suit my personality and daily regime. I'm so happy, it's so refreshing to meet a hairdresser that cares about hair and isn't just trying to get customers out of the door. The appointment took a while but the result is more than I was expecting. The balayage color is wonderful, exactly what I've wanted for years, and the cut is still long, but it moves, its lighter, I feel younger. I can't recommend enough. Linda's amazing!

This hair salon is such an amazing place to get a new hair look! I haven't changed my hair color since years .. Linda made my hair look sooooo beautiful. Just the way I imagined! The hair cut and the color, how it comes up beautifully blended together. She is so knowledgeable and experienced. Besides her lovely friendly personality. I just spent the time at the salon without realizing how long I stayed there! Highly recommend her.

Salon Aya has moved to 398 Mystic Ave, Somerville. Linda is by far the best hairdresser I have ever had!! Her new salon is a delight to behold....filled with fun and beautiful things to look at ...it's practically a museum.... and a statement of her unique creativity. I have been getting my hair cut/styled by Linda for 3 years and every time I come away feeling a lot "better looking" (and happier) than I did coming in! I happen to have straight hair and she knows just how to cut it and style it to give it body and shape and, more importantly, what works for my face. I’ve been seeing Linda for about 10 years now, and I wouldn’t get my hair done by anyone else! She does an amazing job with haircuts, coloring, highlights, and more! She doesn’t want to kill me when I decide I want to change from blonde to brunette back to blonde again every year, and she has the best sense of humor and will keep you laughing during your visit. I cannot recommend Linda enough to anyone looking for a simple haircut, a color (she does amazing work with fun colors too!), or even formal hairstyling!
