Angela always cuts my hair and I’ve never had a bad experience. I would always recommend her to anyone looking for a suggestion!

I saw Angela twice the first time she brushed my hair really hard with the hair brush and I couldn't understand why? shes a hairstylist isn't she aware she's hurting me, I discussed getting a perm with her and she quoted a price that was kind of high. I went to a different salon to get my perm and the hairstylist there asked me if the girl who cuts my hair thins it out because there's chunks missing in the back. Now that I think about it she started my hair earlier because her appointments weren't there and then they arrived so she rushed through it then said loudly "do you want to add a tip"I said, No and she repeated it out loudly so her other clients could hear it "NO" I'm not going back

I absolutely love this salon, and Sue Sayles is absolutely fantastic! She has shown me how to work with my curly hair and she’s very thorough and knowledgeable. She is a great stylist who makes her clients feel at home.

I discovered this salon after I saw a Facebook advertisement and I wanted to try something new. Coming to Salon Artistix was a mistake. My hair looked horrible after my visit here. I showed the stylist, Angela, a picture of what I wanted. She made some suggestions and said that my hair would look just like the picture. She stated that it might take a few visits to get all the color, but it was unclear what would happen with my hair during this first appointment. In the beginning, she brushed my hair harshly from roots to ends, painfully ripping through the tangles. She also pulled my ear with the hairbrush. When I asked her to be careful, she just said "ok" and did not apologize. She dyed my hair (which I agreed to) and added partial highlights on the top 2 inches of my hair. I kept aski

Sue gave me my first "curly haircut" ever last summer. She turned my frizzy, wavy hair into the perfect curly hair style! She could see the potential in my hair and completely changed my relationship with my hair. I now love my hair! Then, reality hit. I went to a different "curly hair stylist" in my hometown of Boulder, CO. My haircut was terrible and pricy. I will have to wear my hair straight until I get back to IL this summer and can have Sue cut my hair again. Sue is a curly hair girl's GEM!
