i went in with VERY long hair that was in need of an update. Desi was amazing, kind, and did an amazing job with my haircut and color glaze. highly recommend.

I had my hair done for a gala. The hair wash was great and the products smelt so herbal. I showed Jaro a few pictures and he started his fairy god mother work. The way he handled my hair was extremely skilled and delicate - you could tell he has been a stylist or hairdresser for many years. He gave me the hair that I wanted, his ability to picture what I wanted greatly surprised me. I highly recommend to come here for a blow out with hot tool!

I let my hair get long so I could get a certain style. I saw Kaitlyn last week, after seeing all these glowing reviews. She gave me probably the worst haircut I have ever gotten. It looks like a bowl was put on my head and she cut the sides in a choppy uneven way. I am so angry - and embarrassed to be seen. If the owner sees this, I would request that he refund my money.

I have been going to Salon Above for many years, and it is always a positive experience. My stylist, Dee, is excellent at cutting and coloring hair, and she is friendly and warm without ever being intrusive. The receptionist who takes your appointment over the phone, hands you a smock when you enter, and later rings up the charges and offers you a piece of chocolate, is always welcoming. The woman who washes my hair and scrubs out any color that might have leaked onto my face is also lovely. There is no attitude, no drama, and no snobbery at this salon. I highly, highly recommend it.
