Nicole Johansen is such a gem at this salon! She's great in her craft of haircuts and styling, very easy to talk with throughout, and does a fantastic job every time! I've been going to her for a while now, and I'm so glad that I took the chance choosing this salon in SW Portland. I would highly recommend her if you're looking to get a great haircut 🙂

I was lucky enough to get an appointment with Kathy, and I’m so grateful I did. She’s the first hairstylist I’ve seen in the past five years who not only listened to what I wanted but truly cared about how I felt walking out of her chair. I would beyond recommend Salon 26 & major kudos to Kathy the owner. I dropped in on the fly during the holidays to try and get a simple neck trim. Although Kathy was there, they were not open. Kathy asked what I was looking for and upon hearing I just needed a quick trim; she invited me in and took care of me. Despite just needing a neck trim, she gave me a thorough trim at no extra cost as she wanted me to leave looking sharp. What amazing customer service and excellent craftsmanship. I had the best experience at Salon 26. Let me start with a background on my situation. I have long thick hair and my husband loves my hair. It scares me to have anyone touch it because a bad hair cut means months of repair. My last hair cut was in Sept 2013. My last stylist told me she sold her business and was no longer able to do my hair. I was devastated. After months of stressing, reading Yelp & Google+ reviews, I finally got the courage to call Salon 26. Darlene is awesome! She didn't try to get me to change my hairstyle, ask if I want a short cut, or up sell on any products. She listened to my concern and gave me an awesome cut. The prices are awesome, the salon is relaxed, and you get great service. I can't wait to take my girls in.

Nikki was Awesome! The place was clean and Nikki is very friendly. She thoroughly listened what kind of haircut I want and gave me the perfect cut! I totally recommend Nikki at Salon 26!
