Chemo and his whole team do a excellent job of developing a game plan to not just achieve the right shade of color or in my case, the best blonde with Latina hair. Rather, Chemo assess my hair to ensure the health of my hair. He will walk me through the steps he is taking for the success of our session. In addition, the salon is always clean and looking fabulous. You do not need to go to Beverly Hills to get that quality, its right here in Downey! I give this salon five stars because the team can give you the hair of your dreams without compromising the health of your hair. Trust his team, they know what's best!

We absolutely love Salon 1971. The service there is amazingly wonderful. Everyone is so kind, nice and attentive. Chemo is an absolute doll and he takes his time in making sure you leave a happy customer. We have all left there feeling like glamorous Superstars! Great job!!!

I had really uneven green toned hair that was patchy from box dye but Stephanie came up with a plan and executed beautifully. The result was beautiful. I got so many compliments on my hair. Service was great. She didn’t double book which helped give all her attention to just my hair. I really like that.
