Feels like place is going down. I was there in Sep-Oct 2025. It was supposed to open up at 9am that day but was closed even past 9am... regardless the fact, that a worker was inside. I drove quite a bit to get to this store that day, I spent my time... Today, Dec 7, 2025. 1:51pm. I drove quite a bit... and... the lights are up, 2 folks inside - door is closed... closed again... again during working hours. This time there is a note on the door...

I’ve been a loyal customer at Sally’s Beauty in Waltham for years. I’m a local and have supported this store since it opened. But on the morning of August 4, I had an experience that was both uncomfortable and upsetting. My daughter and I walked in as the only customers in the store. We were greeted by the store manager, Joleen, but her energy felt off. It didn’t feel welcoming. It felt like we were being questioned. We moved through the aisles, and each time we turned, Joleen was right there…pretending to organize things, but clearly watching us. While we were shopping, two Caucasian women came in. Now there were four of us total…two Black women and two Caucasian women. Joleen greeted them with warmth and never once followed them or monitored them. She stayed focused on us the entire ti

The girl working there (Sophia?) tonight was the nicest funniest person I’ve ever met. 10/10

Many old products on clearance. Some looked expired and still being sold. Kind of expensive. Nothing special.

Samia is the most helpful associate I have ever met. I had a lot of questions about products for my specific type of hair and beard and she was able to give me various recommendations and explain the different types of cream, oils etc. Just made my experience there so enjoyable and saved me a lot of time from having to research or trying to figure out what to get on my own. Very thankful for her expertise.
