If your African American don’t frequent this location as your treated like a second rate citizen by their African American (mixed race ) workers. Your left to wait while they assist the white patrons. I experienced this today at the montauk location. I’ll take my business elsewhere. They need diversity training.

Beware! The price stickers in the store are WAY off from what you’ll actually be charged! I commented that a $10 product was marked as $6 and the associate said “yeah we gotta through the tags and change em”. Great, could you do that promptly please because you’re obligated to inform me of the actual price, not what I wish I was paying! In addition, the associate stared at her phone the whole time and couldn’t tell me if they carry some basic products. Another employee made a fairly loud announcement that they needed to expedite their closing process because she needed to leave the second they closed (I had 20 minutes before they closed) so I felt like I couldn’t ask for the info I needed and had to rush out because I was irritating her by disrupting their closing duties. I visited the store for the first time yesterday (7/21/16) due to recommendation from a co-worker who stated she felt I could find a product I have been looking for. I was disappointed to find that you do not carry the desired product. I bought a substitute to experiment with and then decided to get hair dyes. I asked for help with that and then went and paid finding out that the hair dye was on sale. She rang up the purchase and then I inquired as to the length of the sale. The date prompted me to purchase additional due to the end date of the sale. Asked for a Sally Card and was told it had to be a purchase of $25. I pointed out that the two purchases minutes from each other totaled over that amount, but they refused saying it had to be one purchase. This is unjust and made me no

Walked in a little nervous from reviews, but I think management has changed and this Sally Beauty was such a nice experience! The person who helped me was Paige, I recently bleached my hair and needed help on how to get it lighter. She was extremely friendly, nice, and helpful! Definitely recommend!

The manager there is very rude. I believe her name is Mona. I went in and asked another employee if a certain product was for pro purchase only and the employee who I'm guessing was a new hire went to question the manager who in turn pointed her finger at me and literally shouted that she was busy talking with another customer and I'll have to wait. Obviously that's why I didn't ask her in the first place. It was just the attitude and way I was treated. I also dislike the way I've heard her talk with other customers. I went to cosmetology school and need zero advice from you each time I go in the store . Believe me sweetie you are the last person I'd ask about color theory, judging by your own hair color and hair quality you dont know very much..... okay!
