In the world we’re living in today—especially in a town this small—this behavior is absolutely unacceptable. I was racially profiled in this store. While shopping, an employee with pink hair repeatedly came down the aisle I was in and stood at the end watching me. No offer of help. No explanation. Just staring and monitoring me while I was minding my own business, in my university work uniform, trying to find foot products. It was uncomfortable, inappropriate, and blatant. I almost pulled my phone out to record her, standing at the end of the aisle, watching me like a weirdo.
