came in today for some color and shampoo/conditioner and a couple other products. david was working and was super kind and helpful! i was in and out quickly and with everything i needed. usually i have to go to a couple different locations to get everything i need, but this location was really well stocked

Older brunette lady gave me the most unsolicited, condescending, and rudely delivered “advice” after I asked a “this or that” style of question about a product. I tried to politely brush her off from all the questions she began asking me about my hair and she just wouldn’t let it go as if she personally was going to be held accountable for my results. I actually said “yeah I’m just winging it haha” and she still kept on. She visibly cringed after she peeked behind my head to look at my current color in a ponytail. Lady I’m not a hair stylist and presumably neither are you so mind your business. If I mess my hair up it’s on me for not going to a professional. As I was finally walking away she “recommended” a completely different color than the one I had in my hand. I just said “yeah okay”

Well, what I didn’t appreciate was the lady from behind the counter. I don’t remember her name, white lady low ponytail with glasses, as soon as we walked in, she didn’t really say hello. She kind of just walked in the same aisle with us and I said hi and she said hey is there anything I can help you with and I said yeah and I asked her for some assistance well then she began to tell me that a product needed a license and I was like really cause I got it last time, but it’s fine and I went to the hair store and got it it was a color remover. however, she did help me find my color I was looking for because the packaging was different and I did appreciate that then when I got ready to check out, she asked me if I needed any other essentials. I said I was fine and then she just kept on asking

I don't understand why they have a 3.5 review. I lived next door to the store for 8 years and every time I go in there they are SO HELPFUL. They've never steered me wrong as far as hair colors and hair products. When I don't have my card with me, they look it up for me and the staff is always very nice, attentive, knowledgeable and efficient. The owner is very friendly. I love going here. I REALLY RECOMMEND IT 🥰💋
