S Beauty Supply

I had a great experience stopping in here last Saturday to grab a few things. The woman at the counter was friendly, greeted me, chatted a little and wished me a great day. I have had a few not so great experiences at other establishments, but not here. I will return when I need more items.

I'm new to Texas and I'm used to catching 100% human hair sales in New Orleans. After going to 4 different Hair Stores, this store has the same pack hair the other stores had but cheaper for my quick weaves.

They had so many bundles of hair for sale. So many products!! They also had lots and lots of beautiful wigs all colors EXCEPT gray. Remember, some old people glory in their gray strands but wear wigs because we can't get our hair as stylish as the wigs they wish to wear. But at 62 years old now, I don't want to walk around with jet black hair as when I was younger....much, much younger....... so long ago. That's not me now!!!

I'm literally, outside the beauty supply. I walk in and i noticed the lady is looking at me funny. So, I ask her if everything is okay and she says- yes. I then requested for a wig that I was interested in and asked if I could try it on and the lady said "NO"???....do people nowadays, just buy wigs without trying out?...I've been to other beauty supplies and they normally give you a cap to wear before trying. Anyhoos, not sure why we POC give our business/hard earned $$$ to these very ungrateful business owners who treat us mostly like thieves..smh. Any POC beauty supply in HTOWN hit me up. Thanks and HNY!!

They had what I needed. Only complaint is they watch you like a hawk. I hate when people treat you like criminals. I was ylthe only person shopping in the store. I can see why.
