She truly listened to my wants and needs, which is such a rarity these days, and she demonstrated a deep knowledge of my hair texture. She took the time to look at my curl pattern, listen to what I wanted, and explain every step so I knew exactly how to take care of my curls at home. I was so excited to get my newly wavy hair styled professionally. Had straight hair all my life so I was looking forward to learning more about my new texture. The lady who washed my hair was nice but so soft spoken - I couldn’t hear a word she said so I had no idea what was going on. The lady who “styled” my hair didn’t do anything!! She would stop by 1x or 2x while I was getting washed and blow dried and say more gel or something. At the end I was sitting in her chair while she acted like she was pissed to be working, was so rude, constantly on her phone and walking away. She honestly did zero work. I had an amazing experience with Ellie! She completely saved my hair after a horrible red color job done at another well-known curly hair salon. Ellie worked her magic and corrected the color beautifully, bringing back the blonde highlights I loved. She was incredibly professional, honest, and transparent about what could be improved, and she delivered beyond my expectations. I highly recommend Ellie to anyone looking for a colorist who truly knows what they’re doing. I’m so grateful for her skill and care—my hair looks fantastic!

I want to start off by saying, I never leave reviews. So for me to be writing this, something really didn’t sit right with me. I booked online for a “Finger Coiling with Rëzo Set” with Amber for the listed price of $150. They have you make a $75 deposit to book and then you pay the rest once your service is complete. That was fine. Amber did an amazing job and was very informative. I even got a “free” steam and condition treatment because I was a first time customer. When it was time to check out, the front desk girl ended up charging me $139.36 on top of the $75 deposit that was supposed to go toward my service. When I asked why, she said it’s because my hair was long and because her rate was $200. My hair is up to my shoulders and I purposely booked Amber because it said her rate was
