Ruby Salon

I had a great experience at Ruby Salon. I called for a price estimate on how much it would cost to go pink and they gave me a reasonable range so I made an appointment with Brooke. When I entered the salon I was greeted and it looked very clean. Brooke came right away to meet me and was very nice and friendly. We discussed what I wanted done (to dye my head completely pink). She was very concerned on how the bleach would react with my hair and made it very clear she cared more about the integrity of my hair then the color. I completely agreed as its been a long journey on growing my hair. The music was classic rock which was amazing to listen to my favorite songs as I sat in the chair. I've been going to Ruby for years. I tried just about every high end salon in the area first before I discovered this gem. Kelly (one of the owners) has been my stylist for years and I trust her so much that I let her decide what to do with my hair more often than not. She is terrific and has made my hair look good now for 6 years! Also the rest of the team is terrific as well especially Courtney!! Go check it out!!!!

Ruby Salon is staffed with the most talented, friendly and reliable hairdressers and front desk people. I just recently made the change to this salon and I am SO glad that I did. My hair looks fantastic, not just for a few days but for the full 6 weeks before it's time to go back for my next cut/color. I don't think that I've ever had a stylist as talented and creative as Kelly and I can assure you that I'll be a lifer at this salon. Now that I've finally found a place where the folks know how to cut short hair and do fantastic color! And they listen to you!!!!!! worth every penny!!!

I was in Annapolis for work and had several hours free, so I decided to use the time to have my hair colored and trimmed. I took a chance going to a place I had never been, but the reviews of Ruby were all great. I made an appointment with Halie, the newest stylist at Ruby. Halie was able to match my color and, in addition, suggest some changes to the highlights. She is professional, friendly and skilled. I ended up with a fabulous look, and even though Annapolis is 40 minutes from my home, I am sure to go back to Halie! Thank you Ruby!

Ive been going to Ruby Salon since 2007. At that time I lived across the street in Park Place and was happy to find such a fabulous salon so close to home. I now live 1.5 hours away in southern MD and continue to come to Ruby because its WORTH IT!! Kelly is the best colorist in town (and out!) and the whole staff are fun, talented professionals. It is rare that I visit the salon and don't run into at least one other friend because we all know Ruby's is the best in Annapolis!
