Royal Nail & Waxing

TLDR: Do not come here for a normal nail polish manicure. Does not honor reservations. Does not take credit cards. Questionable hygiene practices. I have been debating posting a review here for a couple of weeks because I know how important positive reviews are for small businesses. However, I’m still thinking about how horrible of an experience I had and want to make sure they know the service I received was unacceptable. I called ahead and made a reservation for two for manicures. We arrived and still had to wait. While we were getting our nails done, another woman came in with a child and she was also forced to wait. My sister and I both requested manicures and we recieved wildly different services. Was a nice new nail salon on Robertson near Hamilton. Still looks clean and modern. But I question how they clean their equipment between customers it looks like they're reusing things and just squirting rubbing alcohol on it. Great selection of DND nail polishes. Quick service. Very expensive. They charged me $60 for plain manicure/pedicure, no extras, no massage, no gel, no fillings, nothing extra. Plain regular nail polish and not even done that well. Disappointed this time. I won't be back

Kaplan is the best here, I highly recommend. I’m always happy with all the services and everyone here is very friendly! I always get compliments on my nails whenever I get them done from Royal Nail Salon. 10/10 recommend and will continue coming back!:)

I have been looking for a regular nails spot since i moved to culver city. Call ahead and they got me as an walking . kaplan make my nails better than thr pictures. he is tallenr and details.

Fast service and competitive prices. My nails looks amazing. Still LA nails are so expensive but they did a great job and faster than most salons/
