Over friendly, if there's someone you particularly like cutting your hair, you can ask for them (provided they're there). And you can tip them for a well done job, if you so desire. There was one who I like, she was fast, efficient, and really knew her job. I would've gone wherever she went to after graduating but, unfortunately, she decided to go to college to persue her study in animation.

I grew up in the area. This school is a historic building. I had been looking forward to attending school here for years. I hit several road blocks trying to get in. While I was making arrangements to get enrolled, I began to meet people who had nothing good to say about the school. They claimed she didn't teach them anything and they were having trouble passing the licensing test. But I ignored the negativity. I really wanted to attend the school. I understood that the owner was a young Latina, single mom, running the show by herself. I felt like supporting her. But I regret that move from the pit of my stomach! On the first day, I realized the rumors were true. She doesn't teach. I already have a cosmetology licence and had already invested 1000 hours of barber school somewhere els

I think the hair cut price went up $9 and up (still a deal), but everything has been going up in price. I tell them what hairstyle I want and they always come through. Due to the Pandemic hours have been cut Tuesday - Friday 8:30 am to 12:00 noon. Make sure you are there early. And you also help students practice .

As far as haircuts, you get what you pay for. Don't get me wrong, there are some talented barber's in the class, but their stay is limited. Thinking about enrolling? Think again! This is a private school, a business. One lady runs the whole place by herself. Everything from keeping stock, running the front desk, doing paper work, running errands.
