I reside in Houston but was hosting my 40th birthday party in New Jersey where I grew up. I visited MANY profiles for locticians in NJ and when I got to Rose and went no further. When we communicated she was professional and timely. I shared photos of my vision and she absolutely exceeded my expectations! And my curly bun lasted for a week and a half AFTER my event! She’s a worth every penny!

Rose is hands down the best. She gets me right every single time — no exceptions. Super professional, always on point, and she really pays attention to detail from the parts to the twist tension to the clean finish. My hair always comes out looking fresh, neat, and exactly how I want it. On top of that, her vibe is solid and the whole experience is smooth from start to finish. If you’re looking for someone consistent, talented, and reliable, Rose is the one. Highly recommend!

Rose has very gifted hands. I usually visit for a wash and retwist. Althought her skills are Top Tier where Rose really stands out among other stylist is her level of service. She is always professional, courteous and respectful of your time. The vibe in the shop is awesome. You can tell everyone who works here enjoys servicing their clients and their clients enjoy coming to The Shop. I don't go to anyone else for my retwist and after your first appointment you won't either.

I can’t say enough great things about my loctician! I’ve been going to Rose since April 2025, and I can honestly say she does an AMAZING job every single time. She’s professional, knowledgeable, and truly cares about the health of my locs. My hair always looks and feels great when I leave her chair. I’m completely satisfied with her service and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a skilled and trustworthy loctician!

From the first time I came to see Rose I was very impressed. Rose is very knowledgeable in her craft especially locs. When I started my locs were extremely dry and I just was not happy with my hair. Rose took the time to tell me what was wrong, what I needed to do and said this is her project now hands off. Every appointment She takes time to answer my questions and give me next instructions so I can stay on task. The atmosphere in shop is welcoming from the Boss, Steph , to Sway (barber). Once I let the 1st time I knew I was going to come back. I highly recommend Rose !!!!
