So I have been taking my daughter here for about a year and Joseline does her hair. I would prefer her just because I’m familiar with her. Well today I called to see if Joseline was available and to my surprise she was not and has not been there in a month. So I’m already skeptical. I asked if I can come still because again, I’m familiar with the shop. I asked if I can come in 3 hours which would have 2:30. The lady on the phone told me the price and to bring cash, fine no problem. I get there and tried to get in the shop and the shop was closed. I called the number back and told her what was going on and she states that they probably closed, she doesn’t know. No sense of urgency even tho I told her that I would be there in 3 hours. I ended up hanging up and going around the corner to Mimi

My last and final time going. I scheduled an appointment for 7am for the third time and every time I notice they don’t honor clients with appointments so booking isn’t necessary they treat everyone like a walk in despite having an appointment. Braiders are always late, never on time, my appointment was at 7 I didn’t have someone doing my hair until 9:38am. Another client walked out with her child because of the extensive wait time. They are far from hygienic as well. I’ve seen a woman use hand sanitizer as a cleaner for the comb. They don’t clean the blow dryer brushes either. Also the last two times I was here I got small butt length knotless each time it should’ve been $300. WRONG! First it was $300 then the second time it was $310, today it was $330 because of the color hair apparently

I went to this location for many years but haven't been for a while. I wanted traditional box braids and got them done by Rose. I loved the braids when I looked in the mirror. A couple days later I went to put the braids in a bun when I noticed my hair was braided down to my scalp at the root. I have never experienced this with traditional box braids. Usually my hair starts off and is finished with a plait not braided. I was do disappointed because this stopped me from pulling the braids into a ponytail comfortably. Please don't go to them expecting box braids or if you do inform them you don't want them braided at the root.

Overall, the experience was good. When I walked in the door, I was greeted by Rose. She understood what I wanted and had braid examples to ensure they got the braid size correct. She was able to show me different colors of hair. I got box braids. Just a note for new comers, if getting box braids you have to ask for square parts, if that’s what you want, if not, you’ll get diamond shaped parts. Still looks good. Took about 3 hours with two people working. Any questions I had they readily answered and were kind. The shop is small and more narrow. Seating area can get crowded by the entry door. In other braid shops I’ve been to in the past, they do use capes. I do think Rose should use capes to help minimize the hair on the client. I was picking hair off when I left. The shop is a little me

First time here. I wanted to try the knotless braids for the first time. The woman that did my hair (I didn't get her name) did an excellent job. I didn't want them to be full. They showed me different braid size samples for me to choose from. In total she did about 23 knotless braids in my hair and only took about 1.5 hours. The staff were very friendly to me and understood my request. No complaints. I'll definitely be returning!
