Rooted Salon

The hair salon is on a whole other level. They really rolled out the red carpet. They serve coffee and when I say coffee, not some you could make at home or get from 7-11, this is boujee. They have a tray of snacks going around periodically. Now let’s get to the good stuff. I had the privilege of Stefanie having a last minute cancellation and she got me in. I was so impressed with how awesome she was. My hair is perfect!!! And on the 1st try!! And I mean perfect!! And on top of that, when I washed it, it felt like heaven. Not the usual dry damaged hair I’m used to having after going really blonde. I’m so grateful to find her! If you haven’t been in Rooted, you need to check it out. I've been going to Rooted Salon for about 2 years now and each experience has been wonderful. I originally scheduled a hair consult and wanted to go red. By fate, I was booked with Taylor who specializes in red coloring. Giiiiiiirl, she nailed the color!! I regularly see her and she does a great job on color and cut!! I've never been unhappy with my experience with her. I also really appreciate how knowledgeable Taylor is with her products. Every product she has recommended me I've loved. I really really wanted to love this salon. In August of 2024 I went in for a basic root touch up for highlights that I had been getting elsewhere out of state for the past 15 years. Nothing crazy or out of the ordinary. Although genetically I have fine hair I never had an issue with this prior at any other salon. Taylor was the colorist at rooted salon that did my hair, I left with my hair completely botched. I was left with my hair color destroyed being patchy, stripy and brassy. I immediately mentioned my concern to her and she said to talk to the owner. As soon as I got into the car I cried about how terrible my hair turned out and how self conscious i felt about it . The owner Jessi immediately scheduled another stylist to attempt to correct this issue which I completely appreciated. I

I have been coming here since it opened! Everywhere else I have gone in the past has not been able to add blonde to my hair without it turning orange and that’s never happened here! Also, every time I come in they tell me exactly what products I need to keep my hair healthy and never try to sell the things I wouldn’t need! The atmosphere is amazing! Everyone is so friendly and happy! They offer snacks and drinks as you get your hair done and truly make you feel pampered! I loved getting my hair done here so much that when my little girls wanted some highlights I knew they would take care of them and make sure to give some life to their hair without burning it up! Stefanie at Rooted Aveda is truly exceptional. She has been cutting and coloring my hair for years, and I am always beyond pleased when I leave her chair. She has an incredible eye for her craft, and it shows in every detail of her work. The entire team at Rooted Aveda is so warm and welcoming every visit feels relaxed and friendly, like spending time with people who genuinely care about you. But Stefanie is the real gem for me.
