Our son and granddaughter have been students of Ron West and both have become passionate about the barber profession. Our son is setting to open his own barber shop in the next few weeks, fully supported by Ron and his team. I actually had my son and granddaughter each give me a haircut and beard trim, just to experience their procedure. Result was top-notch!! Ron focuses on the practical approach to barber training from the very beginning rather than waste student time with class room-only lectures which unnecessarily prolongs the student experience. I wholeheartedly recommend anyone wanting to get into the barber vocation to choose Ron West Barber College.

Ant Prozer is the true definition of that 1% of barbers who will make it in this industry. His patience to a fellow raider who felt down about his hair must be studied. I was down and Anthony brought me up. I told him I want that wolf pack hair cut. I don’t like that rattler hair cut these young kids get. I told him I want to look like BASTION. He did it! He gave me that BOMBARDIER HAIR CUT. Man I went home to the wasp, and the hornets (my children) they loved it!! ANTHONY YOU'RE AMAZING!!!

I was just there at Ron West Barber college this morning, Wednesday December 10th. 2025. I arrived 3 minutes early. At 9:01 a.m. when they hadn't opened yet I walked up to the door. Until my surprise I seen four students in the back smoking. Granted, the college is not open yet, so I don't think there were any infractions. However, I suffer with COPD and I cannot handle secondhand smoke. Realizing though, that smoke does dissipate after a short period of time, I waited. At 9:07 a.m. a.m. they still wasn't open and one of the students was lighting up. Another cigarette. At that point is when I left. I have not had the opportunity to try their services. I had been looking forward to it. I may come back at a later date and update my review if necessary.

Anthony Pearson is a great barber in training! He has a ton of potential & I’m excited to see how far this journey takes him. His hospitality is a 10/10! Definitely recommend.
