Have been going for 10+ years and still the very best. Always get a 1 hour foot massage and come out feeling reset no matter who I get. Environment is “no frills” but quiet, dark, relaxing. The pricing is ridiculously affordable so be sure to tip! :)
I normally don’t write reviews, but I’ve gone enough times now I feel I need to. In my experience this place is a gamble. There’s a 50/50 chance you’ll get a good massage. The past two times I haven’t, and today it was as if my masseuse fell asleep while rubbing my feet. Literally was rubbing the same two inches of my foot for 10 minutes. The last two times I’ve come here it’s been unsatisfactory, and both people got seemingly frustrated at a 20% tip.. I’ve had good experiences here before, but it’s few and far between, as of late… more times than not after I’ve left this place I have not felt as if my money was well spent.
I had a wonderful experience! Helen is an incredibly skilled massage therapist who relieved all the tension in my back, shoulders, and neck. She was very kind, professional, and meticulous throughout the session. I’ve had quite a few massages in the past that felt too harsh, but after this one, I felt noticeably lighter and more relaxed. The space is simple and no-frills, but the prices are very affordable and the staff are welcoming. I also appreciated that they have 30 minute appointments in addition to many other options. Highly recommend it!
Went for the first time yesterday. This is my real review! We rely on these reviews to give us factual insight. Check out my breakdown: Great experience! Very affordable pricing structure to allow you to come in as briefly or long as you like. A majority of the staff don’t appear to speak English, except for a couple of younger staff, but they were responsive and helpful. I felt comfortable, it’s a relatively clean establishment. This specific location has a walk-up of about 15-20 steps, so not accessibility friendly compared to their affiliate storefront(s) along the block. Main point in this review: Massage. I had a 30 min foot rub + 30 min back massage combo. It was awesome. Man knew what he was doing. I was recoiling from two bad massages recently from other places and I felt so good
terrible massage. wasn’t even a massage. was 1 hour of anxiety. i asked to go slower and softer and she was just rubbing with extreme pressure and shaking me the entire time. i didn’t even get a foot massage or a proper hand massage just squeezed my fingers for 1 second extremely hard. extremely disappointing experience and not worth the money i paid.
