My little one had fun so that's what matters but wow, we could not have felt less welcome if we tried. It felt like we were bothering the staff the entire time we were there. My curious little one kept asking questions and the staff wouldn't respond half the time. She wanted to use more than 6 colors- nope, we got a flat response that "6 is enough." She wanted to see the glitter being put on and nope, it was sprinkled on behind the counter & when asked if she could do more "nope, that's enough." Definitely felt like a burden and not planning to go back.

I love Renee’s! And trust me, this is coming from someone who’s intimidated by making art. Not so here! There really is something for everyone. Since it’s priced by the piece you create, you can choose something that’s at your level. I also love that Renee glazes the pieces herself before she fires them. That way I can’t mess it up! Renee’s took me back to elementary art class. So much joy! Give it a try!

Renee's is a wonderful place to create and relax. Renee, the owner, has worked hard for the last 20 years to provide an atmosphere to "release your inner artist." She loves to watch children bring their imagination to life through painting. She loves it when they discover there are no rules. Shouldn't a turtle be green? No, it can be whatever you want it to be. She loves to watch people connect. Just gossiping about life, or really, really getting lost in painting their piece. Over the last two decades, she has hosted uncounted numbers of birthday parties, events, painting classes, pottery wheel classes, sculpting classes, almost anything you can imagine. I came in with my boyfriend, the woman that works there was not friendly at all, she made us not feel welcome. I have tried other pottery classes before and wanted to get back to doing pottery but her attitude made me not even want to try as she was not even willing to have us there. I felt super uncomfortable, so me and my boyfriend won’t be coming back again.
