Had a great experience at Headdress Salon with Kristi! The booking process was very easy and the late night appointment availability was super nice. My appointment was several weeks ago but I wanted to see how well my hair grew out before I honestly reviewed. I was very pleased with how the cut turned out that day... but even more pleased with how it's grown out. 100% recommend Kristi!

Passionate-Kind-Always on trend - LOOK NO FURTHER! I have lived in Iowa city since 2007, I also got a very bad haircut that same year. I was recommended to Michelle - who not only fixed my terrible haircut- but who has been the ONLY stylist to touch my hair in the last 12+ YEARS. Listens to my concerns, advises me, helps me look forward to new hair cuts and styles. Michelle has also done my hair for formal events and I ALWAYS get compliments. Love her location - close. She works quick and efficiently. Always fits me in when I need something done. You cannot go wrong with Michelle!

Had an amazing experience at Headdress Salon! Michelle is the best! My daughter who is a teenager and has autism thinks she knows more then me about hair. It has been a struggle to get her to take care of her hair. Not only did Michelle cut and style her hair she talked to her about the importance of caring for her hair and even took the time to show her how. Thank you Michelle for your caring heart!

The overall experience was amazing! I got highlights and lowlights, my hair was VERY dry and overprocessed. Michelle worked some magic on my hair, she was able to get it to the EXACT color I hoped for. My hair is beautiful and healthy again! The shop itself is tranquil and relaxing. If you are in the Iow City area and want a true professional, go see Michelle! You won't regret it!!

Long time fan of Michelle and her gift! I’ve been having Michelle style and cut my hair since (I think) 2008. I often refer to her as a “Hair Wizard” or “Hair Goddess.” She definitely listens to what you want and executes it beautifully. Sometimes I swear she can EVEN read my mind. NO JOKE. She is aware of what is trendy and alternative styles too (funky colors, deadlocks, etc) I always leave her salon so happy and I tell everyone about her magic! Just go book yourself with Michelle already! I promise you won’t be disappointed!
