Before moving to the area, I did my research and found this Med Spa in Swansboro — and I’m so glad I did! It’s close to home and right in our small town, which makes it even better. From the start, Karen was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and patient, taking the time to answer all my questions about different products and treatments. Karen proposed treating my frozen shoulder and slap tear after trying months of physical therapy, cortisone shots, and manipulation under anesthesia. I was honestly so exhausted and defeated from dealing with the pain for so long. Karen started treating me with StemWave, and after a few sessions, I’ve noticed more improvement than I did with all the other treatments combined. My range of motion is better, my pain is down, my sleep has improved, and I finally feel like things are actually moving in the right direction. She’s knowledgeable, compassionate, and really knows what she’s doing. About a year ago I injured my right knee. I consulted with Karen and she explained a new treatment option called Stem-wave. Before starting treatment I was reporting pain levels at 8 or above.
