Refresh Nail n Spa (W 94 ST)

I don’t usually leave reviews, but this experience was extremely disappointing. I went in on Saturday 1/10 to get my nails done in preparation for my birthday celebration the next day. I paid $152 total for a regular pedicure and a Gel-X manicure set. I’m giving this review two stars because the pedicure was decent. However, the Gel-X application was a completely different story. During the service, the nail tech applied the nail incorrectly twice, which significantly delayed the appointment. Because of this, I ended up late to my lash appointment scheduled immediately after. Even more frustrating, by the time I got home from my lash appointment (only about three hours later), I hadn’t washed dishes or done any heavy lifting yet and my pinky nail had already come off. It is now Friday 1/

I don’t like to leave bad reviews but I am not exaggerating when I say I think this manicure is the worst of my life. I wish I would have stayed home and done it myself because the quality is so bad. They put two extremely thin coats of very old looking gel polish on which left streaks and lumps. It’s see-through even though it was opaque polish. The lengths and shapes of the nails are uneven as well. I called them and they refused to refund me, they only offered to fix it which would require a total removal and another gel manicure that’s likely to be poor quality. I’m going to have to go to another salon to get it completely re-done. Terrible quality and terrible customer service.

The Refresh Nail n Spa is a little oasis from the chaos of city streets. Inside the atmosphere is most relaxing, soft tranquil music plays, and the massage chairs are supportive and comfy. I do love how Kim does my brows. Haven’t had them tinted before but I will be from now on. Spa pedicure is on point and worth the money.

Really bad experience. 👎 I used to get my eyelash extension 3D and very full for 150 dollars. I wanted to try something close by, and for this, she charged me 200 dollars and asked me for the 10% gratitude, which is another 40 dollars. She wanted me to make a 2-week appointment for retouch. Dont even bother bother to make an appointment very unprofessional. Never coming back again.

I got the best French manicure by a woman named Aida. She took her time and it came out really nice.
