Reflections Salon

My friend normally dyes her hair herself, and for once she decided she wanted to treat herself and get it done by a professional. So she went to Ashlee Smith (IG @ashleesmith.slays), here, at Reflections Salon in Brookings. Not only did Ashlee do a horrifically lazy and rushed job on blending my friend’s roots into her hair, she also was NOT helpful at ALL regarding fixing the HARSH and JAGGED transition. And, to top it all off, Ahslee used permanent dye on my friend's roots. My friend's roots were far darker than the actual color her hair was dyed and Ashlee’s only option to help her fix the “shadow root” she did (if you can even call it that), was to dye her roots DARKER. Hi I have to recommend this place %100 I have been a blonde for so long and Diane gave me such a beautiful brown and copper hair ! I'm not used to having dark hair but I feel so much better and happier about myself! Thank you so much ! I have gotten so many compliments so far !

I had my nails done there, I paid $70. The girl who did my nails barely talked to me the person behind her doing someone else's nails actually spoke to me more then the person doing my nails. She seemed like she didn't want to be doing my nails. She seemed like she put very little effort into them. There not evened out, she did not ask if I wanted the pepto pink base. I wanted French tips none of them are even. I just wanted to get out of there she was making me uncomfortable because of how much she seemed like she didn't want to be doing it. It was a horrible experience I haven't had my nails done in years and I finally go do it and I end up with a snob who does a crappy job and I gave her a $10 tip wish I hadn't I shouldn't have paid for these honestly.
