Redondo Barbershop

My first hair cut here when I moved to Redondo was very good!! But after my partner Luis got his hair cut. And thru conversation told the barber we were married and that I was his husband. A married gay couple. My very next hair cut after was really bad. Same guy cut it. But just was a very bad hair cut I am still trying to grow it out for the places he cut to short. I ware a hat most the time. I don’t want to say it was discrimination but sure feels like it. Any way just be aware if you are part of the LGBT community. This place isn’t friendly to the community. Sorry for the post but people need to be aware.

Asked for a modern mullet and ended up with a haircut that resembled a comb over from the ‘30’s. I explicitly told him not to cut much off the top and back which he seemed like he understood which I guess he did not. I even showed him a picture of what I wanted but it ended up looking totally different. This is the first review I’ve ever given because normally I’m not one to give reviews regardless of if they are really good or really bad, but this was so terrible I had to leave a review. Please don’t come here if you want something specific or something that requires a fade of some kind.

Husband and kids all go here. Haircuts are fabulous! They are great with the kids (I’m sorry I know my kids are difficult too!) and their hair turns out so so so much better than when I take them to the kid haircut places.

I came here last week for a hair cut. I met with a man who I think was the owner. The place was vacant, that was the first concern, but it's local and I always support local businesses and I needed a hair cut. I gave him very specific instructions, and he seemed to know what he was doing. Not really. I asked for a 3-2-1 fade and also an inch of the top. He gave me a ball spot on the right hand side and barely touched the top. The end results made me look like I had a Toupee. That was a $50 loss in a short 15 minutes cut. Never again.
